just in case you were wondering, the Danger Board will be spending the months of May and June recording a whole bunch of our very good songs (to replace the not-so-good recordings that are currently on this site). after our allotted eight weeks of recording have elapsed we plan on playing an early July show with the popular North Carolina group, Wedlock (likely featuring Jarrin J. Jarrinson filling in on bass!) and a third surprise band (who can't yet name due to contract negotiations) - check back for details.

hey there. so, remember when the Danger Board were slated to open for New Model Army? wait... seriously? how can you not remember!? it was only like few months ago! anyway, your worrisome lapses of memory aside (you may want to get that checked out, by the way), the Danger Board were, in fact, slated to open for the New Model Army last year. unfortunately, NMA were denied visas and had to cancel their tour. now, having gotten their (proverbial) ducks in an (international jurisdictional) row, they are coming back to the USA. they will be playing at the triple rock on thursday, april 10th and guess who's opening for them! [we'll give you a hint: it's us]

hey there. the Danger Board has been invited to play at the "Bleeding Hearts Romp" at the Bedlam Theatre Saturday, February 16th. The Romp starts at 10pm and will feature dance antics, costumes, a short film, Sake jello shots and wanton audience participation... and that's all before the Danger Board takes the stage! we will be reprising our la belle epoque show with costumes, parlour games, valuable prizes and of course, rock with music (and guitars).

hey there. in an unanticapated change of course, the Danger Board will be coming out of its previously scheduled hibernation (see the preceding update) in order to play All The Pretty Horse's Fetish Ball on feburary 13th at at First [fucking] Avenue. how exciting!

hey there. happy new year! to celebrate the Danger Board is holing-up in our practice space to record a high-quality demo. we expect to finish recording and start rocking in public sometime in early march.

hey there. so, we've got yet another show coming up. this one is a mere twenty-four (24) hours after our dinner show at station 4! this saturday, we are playing at the bedlam theatre for the Bean Tree gallery opening gala. this show will feature great art (for you to see), great music (for you to hear) and a great big Red Button (for you to push)!

hey there. it was great to see so many of you at our show on the 27th enjoying the rock (with music and guitars). as those who were in attendance on saturday already know, we are having a little contest. all you need to do is fill out the entry form and you will be eligible to win a free three-course dinner with the danger board on Novembuary 30th at our next show! that's right, you give us your name, email address and the reason you should win you may be selected as the lucky winner of a delicious three-course dinner!

hey there. so we've got another show coming up next month. it's going to be at station 4. we're playing\\jhvh-1\d$\web\Danger Board\home_archive.asp with Stellar Vector-- a project that brings together JonathanFord (blue-haired goth-rocking noise kid extraordinaire) and CharlesSadler (he sings! he plays piano! he might as well be Stevie Wonder!) under the glorious flag of prog rock (you know, like Queensryche)-- on Friday, Novembuary 30th! it's the best excuse to visit our fair state capital since Pizza Luce!

hey there. it looks like the Danger Board is going to be opening for Venus and All the Pretty Horeses on Octember 27th at the Uptown Bar. this is the closest Saturday to Halloween (and it's the Horses, for god's sake!) so don't miss out! you can bet there will be plenty of costuming and whatnot involved-- seriously, you don't want to miss out on 'whatnot,' do you?

hey there. the Danger Board will be performing at the Triple Rock on September 27th with Autumn and Action Frank at 10pm. it will be a 21+ show.

and the Danger Board will also be opening for Uz Jsme Doma at the 7th Street Entry on October 22nd. this show will also be 21+. (canceled. booking is hrad.)

hey there. the Danger Board is dismayed to announce that the New Model Army show (9/27) for which we were to have opened has been canceled. evidentally "the US Citizenship and Immigration Service have [sic] denied the visas that the band require to travel to the USA and so until this matter is resolved all shows are on hold." (NMA website)
if they reschedule a show for Minneapolis we will try to get ourselves on the bill again.
